Race To Witch Mountain - Disney - PG-13

I give it an 8. Took my grandchildren ages 3.5 to 8 yrs old. Don't see the PG-13 rating unless for violence. Plot's kinda weak but didn't expect much better. all in all a neat movie.

We also went last Friday and saw this movie. The actors did a wonderful job, but like you said the plot is a little week.

I saw race to witch mountain too

I would give it a rating of 9

lots of action from the start right till the end. the assasin was really a tough one, and I didn't think they would have a chance against him. the actors did a decent job and the special effects were really good.

    I would see it again

    I agree!!

I saw this yesterday evening and I was glued to the screen for the duration of the movie

I wasn't expecting it to live up to the hype, but I have to say it was held together throughout by the superb storyline and great acting

really was a 'feel good' movie,

    another movie review

    The Ramen Girl

I rate it an 8 NIT may rate it higher

a girl moves to Japan to be with her boy friend and takes a boring job.

her boyfriend splits and leaves her on her own, she decides to hang around hoping he will return. life for her has no meaning and then one evening she sees all the people lined up across the street in front of the local Ramen shop and they are all happy and having fun.

she goes over just as the shop closes and the owner is a tyrant who doesn't speak english, neither does his wife. he serves her some ramen soup to get rid of her.

she makes the choice to become a ramen chef and the master and student battle it out thru most of the movie. he is mean and nothing she does is right according to him.

the whole story unfolds nicely as she learns to be a ramen chef.

its a feel good movie that is great for the whole family.

    see it with your sweetheart

Last Saturday we took our two children (4 & 11) to see Monsters Vs Aliens in 3D!!

I must admit I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was, the 3D effects were amazing and really added to the overall enjoyment of this movie

The quality of the animation was exactly what you expect from the Dreamworks team

I never got bored once and my attention was held throughout the whole movie

This Movie is showing in normal and 3D versions, I would recommend seeing it in 3D if possible for the ultimate experience!!

As for the Children, they absolutely loved it, sometimes it's difficult to get 4 year olds to pay attention for that length of time, but i can say that it was exactly his kind of thing,

He came out of there wanting to watch it again and asking if he could have it to watch at home too

Only downside was the 3D glasses came in one size only and he had to keep putting them back in place every time they slipped off

Great fun movie, looking forward to it being released on DVD

    another movie review

Doubt, a movie about a catholic grade school in the Bronx in the 60.s.

I went to a catholic grade school for 8 years in Chicago, the nuns at my school were meaner

the Mother superior feels one priest is being overly friendly with the young boys in the parish and keeps trying to prove it.

the acting was done very well, the settings were authentic and the entire movie kept me intrested. I won't give away the ending

I would rate it an 8

    another movie review

    Paul Blart mall cop

    I rate it a solid 10,

it was much better than i thought it would be

he likes a girl working at the mall and a gang of crooks take over the mall and he battles them all by himself.

lots of action and great music throughout.

no swearing, a great movie for the whole family.

YouTube - Paul Blart: Mall Cop Trailer HD

    I would highly recommend it

Another good movie is Kill Theory. It's a Lions Gate film so you can get the idea of what kind of movie it is. If you like Saw you will like this movie. Unfortunately it hasn't been released yet, and should be in theaters soon.

    I give it a 7 out of 10.

    Kill Theory (2009)

I have seen it by the way...
