NEW Pachiholic Questions

Hello everyone my name is Brandon and I am now officially a Pachiholic! Well I bought my first Pachinko machine for $150 bucks. It took a few hours, but I found you all and I have some questions. I have searched the forums and have not found my answers. I have a Sankyo Wonder Powerful machine I looked at the manual that is offered on here. In this manual it says that you will be paid every time you go through a hole. I only get paid when I hit the start gate. Also I found a small 7 segment display that has a switch beside it. I pushed the button while the machine was on and the "-" changed to "7" and after awhile went back to "-". Is this how to change the payout? Also I have seen where people swap cells, is this possible on my machine and if so what kind of cells can I get?

there are 2 ball tracks, one for smaller payouts and one for the larger ones.

it sounds like you have a problem with one of those.

I'm not sure of the proper procedure to dump all the balls on this model.

there may be a small lever near the payout motor to do that, make sure you have something to catch the ball when they all fall out

Which version did you get? Mine is the JWX. I'm intrigued by this switch you speak of, pics are worth a thousand words. I really like the opening sequence when that game starts

The 4 pockets around the bottom (2 on either side) don't pay anything?

WOW! What a greeting, thank you all for welcoming me in such a warm manner! As requested pics of my Pachinko machine. Frontside and even some... oo la la backside pictures! Took some pics of the payout mech and of the 7 segment display and switch. If you want any other pics just let me know.

i have a lord of the rings in this case. i do have payout problems every now and then as well.. i believe the 7 you speak of is an error code. when i get this code i mess with the mech that controls the pay out. unplug it for a second. replug and i push the button next to the error code display. and it then pays out the balls it missed. i dont know if this is the problem you are having.. do the extra payout pockets pay out at all. or are you just getting paidout from the start pocket? welcome to the site by the way

I am only getting pay outs from the start hole.

The 7 means the upper hopper is empty. If it isn't, then there is a blockage in the ball tracks to the payout motor

Anyone know why I am only getting payouts on the start hole? And I only get 5 or 7 balls. I have yet to hit bonus and get a big payout.

You get nothing from the four side pockets? (2 on either side on the bottom). If not, check your connections on the back, make sure they're all plugged in and properly. One of them should be for the sensor for those pockets. The pass thru pocket on the left doesn't give you anything but a roulette (opens the wings below the start for a second or not), the right one doesn't do anything.

Like Compirate said, check ALL of the plugs on the back of the machine by unplugging each and every one (carefully) and making sure none of the prongs are bent inside of each plug. Then replug each one.
One of my Victory frames had a few lights out, and upon doing this kind of inspection, I found a bent prong. I carefully straightened it and replugged everything and wah la! The lights came back on!
These machines are built so nicely that you should find your problem with NO PROBLEM! Good Luck!
