Hi all, I am thinking about getting Cue Ball Wizard (1992) gottleib. Someone local has it on craigslist for 775. How much should I offer them? Here is a link to the ipdb on this machine. It looks like a good machine. Lots of synthesized speech in it.

I just got back from looking and playing the machine. OMG is not the words to decribe it...it is in MINT condition. No scratches, playfield is super polished, all rubbers are good.. plays fast and hard. All bulbs are working. This is a steal for 700 dollars. The lady who owns it doesnt realize what it is worth. She just wants it gone. It is upstairs in their game room. So I have some shippers going to go pick it up and deliver it for 80 bucks for 1 hour of service. It seems to be a DMD but not sure. It has graphics and synthrezied clint eastwood sounding person in it. Awesome find for the money. Hope I can talk the wife into letting into the home. What she doesnt know wont hurt her. Better to do it and ask for forgiveness later right guys. I should have it delivered on Thursday of next week.

Well got some bad news, the lady got an offer for 900 dollars last night, and now she is re-evaluating her price...thats really sucks...she is wanting to get more for the machine...I should have gotten it while I had the chance...so now I need to go back and get my 220 I put down on it back. 1 of the pitfalls doing business on craigslist is that you can get burned. And I folks got burned. So a sad ending to this story unfortunately. Patients and something else will come along I am sure.

that stinks stinger that realy stinks kinda makes you want to get a buddy to call and offer $1400 so the greedy Bi*%$ gets stuck with it i would ask her to pay the deposit back you "payed" the movers that you no lost

She is a very bad seller. If you take a deposit then you should honor the price. It is her fault if she did not research the item first before setting a price.

$ 1,275.00 is the price in the 2009 Mr. Pinball Price Guide. It was the same in the 2008 book. At $ 900.00 it is still worth it if it is mint.

just an update. she now has it listed on craiglist for 1450..lol..I hope they drop it going down the stairs and she ends up eating it.

While that was a great price, just be patient and maybe you'll come across a more fun machine. Gottliebs are built well, but most of the gameplay on their dmd machines leaves a lot to be desired.

Well she had removed it but it now it is back again...for 1450. So I hope a scammer gets her. The deal must have fell through. She now has it named on the ad instead western style pinball, she must have done her research. Here is the ad...e-mail her and give her hell pachi friends.
