    Default Reel Alignment Problem???

My Dragon Dice's reels line up fine, but they all line up 3 or 4 clicks too low in the viewing window -- the bottom play line starts to go out of view. I see the adjustment screws for the sensors but the only one I'm able to get at (without removing the reels in the way) is the rightmost reel. :-?

Is there an easy way (I guess I could bend the hell out of the brackets holding them all in -- haha!) to get them to line up together higher in the window? :?:

I think you got to take the rack out to adjust them all.

Studying this thing over, it is going to be a b*tch to fix this. At least it's going to take some doing.

Instead, as sort of a micky-mouse fix, I was able to force the front play glass down about 3/16ths of an inch and then used a plastic pull tie to pull the reel cage back a bit as it was slightly loose in its mount. These two adjustments make it at least close to being right. It could still use some tweaking, but it's not something really noticeable any more. :smt023

Ok, I've messed with this some more and thank goodness I didn't start tearing everything out to adjust the reel sensors! Along with moving the play glass down a bit and pulling the reel tray up tight with the plastic pull tie mentioned above, now it turns out that the reel cage had actually had slipped down a bit on the back wall of the case. Was able to move it up about 1/4 inch. Between these three adjustments, the reels are now centered!!! 8-)

Bottom line on this fix: Don't always assume the repair. Look a bit further and perhaps save yourself a lot of time and aggravation.
