Default 85 bucks shipped.. what do you think?

Got an offer for this pachinko 85 bucks shipped to my door.. Considering shipping costs, what do you guys think? Personally I like it, and have been wanting a vintage, its called a Nishijin pachinko super deluxe. I've seen the back it looks good to me, but what do you guys think???

Not a bad looking machine. It appears to all there. I can't see the upper tray in the back photo.. .is there and undamaged? If they do ship it... you need to get them to protect that part of the machine. The common breakage during shippping is that top tray as it 'sticks out' even with the wood frame and become an easy target.

Oh.. just for reference, the term 'Super Deluxe' was using on a LOT of the machines by Nishijin. It's like they thought it had a good 'sales' sound to it so they plastered it on almost all of their machines!

can you get a close up of the cell? $85 delivered is not bad at all, especially if they have to ship any distance, and if the cell is not water stained. any balls come with it? those cost about $40 per 500, too.

rusty's right about the packaging. Ideally, they would screw a piece of wood on the top of the frame that sticks out beyond the 4 inches that the tray goes. my power flash just arrived with that same tray broken.

also, if you have them box it vertically and marked "this side up" it will help to keep the plastic pieces on the back from getting squashed by another box set on top of it (these are all the vintage pachinko people's recommendations for how to ship)

that machine is pretty common, so you shouldn't have trouble getting help fixing it, if there's anything not working.

    have fun!

I worked on a Pachinko machine almost exactly like that last weekend. I really like the look of the silver "bullets" in the lower right just outside of the play field. I wish I had one.

Awesome find! With a bit of cleaning it should be a great machine for your collection.

Thanks for sharing it with us. Please post more pics once it arrives.

You said the key words..."personally, I like it".

If that's the case, then $85 shipped is not a bad deal.

When something about a machine captures your fancy, my rule of thumb is $100 or less. If there's nothing really special about it, and you are just buying for the heck of it, I tend to draw the line at $60-$65. (at least that's my rule now. It wasn't always...but that's another story!)
I'm not addicted to Pachinkos. I can quit at any time. Did I tell you about the three machines that I have on the way?

If it's in working condition, Then that's a good deal

If it's a resto, then it depends on if you're willing to spend some quality time doing the work.
