Not conceding the machine cost the work to and all three front glass and the reels. You are looking at $600 range the work scanning and set all your pictures is very time comsuming, the film, replacement glass, really that cheap. The machine, tairyo, is a poor onr to do what you want.

Why not get him a machine like yours, and a nice framed pictures, set it on top.

Well, the gentleman, doesn't realize the amount of work involed in doing just the three front glass replacement in glass alone & to scan and place, print to film. Lamanate between glass.

Then the Reels you have 21 center spaces per reel and placement to coralate the graphic per where the computer said it is to be.

If I was spending that kind of money for custom, I would put it on a high end machine with ton of bells & whislyes.

My 2ΒΆ worth, and the Framed picture he can move around.

All always depends on the machine, some can easily be done, Some can't because of the shaped glass, some have attched legs.

I only customize what I sell, Hell, I got to make some money for all the time I put in. I only way I would custom a machine that way is $20.00 hour Plus cost of supplies.

Argh! OK, well, I have a 1950 Ford just like it came off the showroom floor sitting out here in my garage that I'd love to have her pics put onto a custom machine. But, maybe I should be thinking of another way to memorialize her?

I don't think people realize the time and supplies involed in doing a all glass custom. Onersize Scanner, oversize Printer the film run $45 a box 10 sheets, all the replacement p-glass. My graphic computer to manhandle the pictures is a G5 with 2 gig memory and 360 gig of hard drives. The reason the pictures look so good are they are scanned to the size printed at 1600 dpi, we are talking one hell of a honking picture. Than thru is any graphic manipulation. That way I went to only one style of machine, I learned that I can get cut the p-glass for 10 machine of the same sizes. Where a each different machine, that cost for 10 set of six, would only cover three different set of six.

It is easy just to do the belly glass, it is posted on the board, you could do that yourself, and the cost you can justifi to yourself for your own custom.
Most large print shops will take your picture and if you give them the size will print it to film in the $30 to$55 range, you can cut your own p-glass, put the pancake together, and you got the standerd custom Pachislo cheap.

And you can do it to what ever machine you want to.

When I done the two above, I didn't know about standardizing for cost and I just bought a bunch of machines, boy did I learn.

Maybe the belly glass and the uppper window (depending on machine) would be enough? I sure don't have the printer to do the job. My printer is merely an HP Photoshop printer we use for family prints up to about 8X10" is all.
