    Default Goldeneye Pinball Machine

Has anyone ever played the Goldeneye pinball machine? How much fun is it?

Goldeneye Pinball Machine (Sega, 1996) - Image gallery - Pinside.com

There is one available near me for $1,250. Is that a good price assuming its in decent shape?

I haven't seen any pictures yet, so for all I know, it may have just come off a route or maybe the person is simply trying to unload his problem machine onto someone else. The prices for pinball machines seem to vary significantly, so I don't know if this should cost less than $1,000, more than $2,000, etc.

    Thanks!

If you look on the pinside site that you posted the link to that game does not feature in the top 100 machines, so if you are looking to spend that sort of money I think you could probably buy a more popular machine.

But of course just my opinion.

It is a very nice machine with couple of surprising features like secret magna ball save between flippers but it might become boring in home use because the rule sheet is not quite deep. It is reasonable price but if you manage find more popular game with same price (yes, it's possible) buy something else.

Goldeneye is a good game. However, it does have a weak point, the magnets. I have a Sega Twister and it uses the same magnet board. They are prone fo failure, as mine did shortly after aquiring it. I had mine rebuilt, and it works, for the time being. hehe. Goldeneye is a fun game to play, but as was said, the rules are not too deep so it might get boring.
