homemade reset arm for single shot sophia
just wanted to share the latest creation... a substitute for the other half of the rocker arm that resets the jackpot arm on the single shot sophia. (I think the nishijin A's have a similar arm).
fortunately, I ended up with two of these single shots last week that were listed on craigslist. this way I knew what piece I had to recreate.
below is the intact piece, then the broken one with an arm made from a paperclip and gooped into place. It took a lot of futzing to get the angles just right, so that it wouldn't bind on the other arm, and that balance point for the red jackpot regulator was in the right place. the third, rotated picture, shows the goop in the plastic piece closeup.
I have asked bill at vintage pachinko if he has a spare one, but this works like a charm right now.
