    Default Super Bingo questions

Sorry if this has already been covered elsewhere, but I'm new to the forum, this is my first post! I'm blind, and received a Super Bingo Pachislo for Christmas.
I love it, but for two things. First, the music in a bonus game is really loud, and mine didn't come with a volume control. How much do these cost, and
where can I get one for this model? Also, is there an Autostop made for Super Bingo? How much does it cost and where do you get it?
About tokens, the best deal I've found is $70 for 1000 from Stealth, not sure if that includes shipping. Will these tokens work with Super Bingo? E.G.
are Pachislo tokens usable in any Pachislo made? Are there any better deals on tokens I should know about?
    Thanks!

    Welcome to Pachitalk!!

One of our members is selling volume controls in our auction site -
    9 pack of volume controls for $15 (Auction ID: 2242, End Time : Feb. 14, 2009 22:31:37) - PachiTalk.com
There are other types available out there as well.

Here is a link for autostop chips -
    AUTOSLOT AutoStop for Pachislo S
I have one of them and it works good.

As for tokens, check Ebay for the best prices, $70 for 1000 is a bit on the high side.
You want the .984 size, that is the most common.

A few technical questions. How does the machine know where the reels are positioned, E.G. at a full reset, etc? When you stop the reels, are you actually stopping the reels, or are you stopping a random number generator which stops the reels wherever it wants to within reason? Or is the whole thing RNG-based, so you really have no control? Just a few questions I'm curious about.

This has been discussed lots of time. Try a search, I won't be able to explain it as well as others already have. Basically the reel is aloud to slip a few spots after the button has been pressed in regular play. During some chance modes you might have true control.

Does the Autoslot work with Super Bingo? I'm new to this type of thing, and don't want to buy something that might not work. Just making sure.

Hi. Got the Autoslot in the mail just today. I'll probably get someone else to install it, since I'm blind, but I want to see if I'm wright about where it goes. Haven't gotten brave enough to try installing it myself, don't want to turn the machine on and have it go BOOM!
I've found what looks like the right kind of cable going from a board at the back right of the machine, kind of high, to a spot above the reels. Is this the right cable? Are there levers you pull to unhook the cable? Which end should I unplug in order to install the Autoslot?
On another subject, I've found auctions for 1100 tokens on eBay from 5stardeal.com. They say they're 30MM, I think that's right. Is this the correct measurement for Super Bingo?
    Thanks!

    This is from Vince's website:

    How do I install it?
Unplug machine from the outlet. Open the machine door. Locate the stop board and remove the 30 conductor cable by pressing down on the two cable release levers. (Do not disconnect the other end of the cable from the motherboard). Plug the end of your existing cable into the AUTOSLOT Auto Stop cable and the other end of the AUTOSLOT Auto Stop cable into the connector on your stop board, making sure the levers latch back into place. Close the door, turn on the power and you are ready to go!

He also has an image for the person that will be installing it to look at: AUTOSLOT AutoStop for Pachislo S

30MM is too large. You want the .984" / 25mm size.

The Super Bingo, as well as the other games of that year Bellco made are very hard to control the volume. The bass speaker in the bottom of the door has a boost curcuit mounted in the speaker. You actually have to remove the bass speaker, and then remove the board. Cut the circuit trace on the negitive side of the board going to the speaker, solder a 50 ohm resistor in place of the cut trace. This will greatly reduce the volume from the speaker. The upper tweeters are very hard to reduce the volume.
I have found that if you place a small double pole double throw switch in the machine, with two 40 ohm resistors. Wire the speakers with the resistors on one end of the switch, (one resistor for each tweeter) and just have the standard wiring on the other end of the switch. So you can switch the resistors in and out of the circuit, so when playing a bonus game you can turn the volume down by switching the resistors into the citrcuit. Other wise the volume is either too loud or too soft, just leaving the resistors in line on the tweeters of the game. In all about a couple hours work. But well worth it in the end.
