Default How Do I Identify My Machine

I was given a skill stop Japanese slot machine. I know nothing about them. When I plugged it in, it played music and lit up but nothing else. I opened the cabinet through a hole in the back, no lock and of course no key. All it does now is light up.

How do I identify what machine I have, don't speak Japanese. 2003 was on an inspection sticker. Sankyo, Daido, D101-1, 008807 all appear on the front. The reels have a fish which pays 2, 3 Mah Jong appearing tiles pays 8, 3 scrools in a pyramid with 3 of them acrosss pays 15, 777 pays something and 3 big headed Samurai looking man pays same.

I would like to get this operational so it can join my 3 pinball machines in the bar at the house.

I hope I have not missed an obvious thread about identificaion, if so, accept my apologies.

    Thank you

I am unsure on the model. But in my opinion you should clean out that machine very carefully get all dust etc before you plug it in again. This will avoid future problems and a potential fire risk.

Someone here will know that model...

    Enjoy the machine...

That machine is Daido Shimuken. We have the Shimuken G listed in our research center.

After a machine sets a while it most likely needs to be reset. I don't see a reset key on the power supply so it may be located elsewhere in the machine. I'm not familar with that machine so other then that I can't help much. Basic reset instructions are in the research area and that area will open for you after a few more posts if not already.

Default Know what it is now, but how to reset

Thank you for the information. I have cleaned the interior as well as possible and have found no key start etc. There is however a second circuit board on the right with inputs from the reels but with many connectors left open facing the front. I will post pictures later. Is there something else to look for as far as resetting?

    Thanks again for the information.

In the past I have replaced a few reset key switches with small rocker switches due to lost keys. It's a fairly simple swap on most machines, though I am not familiar with this model. Good luck and welcome to Pachitalk!
