    Default Reel placement

As many of you know, these machines were salvaged from Arby and miraculously work fine. The only problem I see is that the reels appear too low in the window. Could anyone with one of these machines measure the distance from the top of the reel cage to some part of the case or other reference point? Attached is a pic from Harley, is the metal above the black plastic reel mechanism covers normally visible?

That is an odd thing. I don't have a harley machine, but it's now running through my mind (lots of room) as to why that would be like that. It can't be a distortion of the case or door...it's too perfect. Components inside are metal and plastic, so I cant imagine any sagging of the reel shelf. Like I said...that is an Odd thing to happen.

My only thought...The metal plate (if it is metal) that the reels sit on might have a fold on one edge for stiffness and for the screws. Maybe, when this shelf was put back in...it was installed upside down...causing the reels to be about a half inch lower than they should be.

    Hope you figure it out.

    Hope these help.

The first three are reel placement after the reels stop spinning.

The others are with the door open showing the cage in relation to the frame. You can use the holes on the right for the door latches on the cabinet to orientate the cage in 4 - 6 and # 7 shows the door and reel placement.

If you need other angle Pic's or close up areas let me know.

My Dragon Dice and Austin powers (both IGT also) have reel assemblies that sit lower then my other games.

The reels in my Alien (also an IGT) sit lower then the others. I think it's just an IGT thing myself

I sit in a parlor chair with the machines on a parlor height table, the reels just seem too low, by about an inch, but if that's what they're supposed to be, so be it. I see a lot of combination's if all three reels were down one more notch, so it may be a tease thing.
