Default Buzzing/Electron. Vibration Coming from "Computer Game&

I just received one of the Twin Tales machines, started it and found that there is an extremely loud constant buzzing/electronic vibration coming from the back of the pachinko machine in the "game computer" area.

It is not coming from the speakers and is very loud whether or not the game is being played?

Does anyone know what might cause this and whether it's easily fixable? Or should I return this machine immediately?

    Thanks

    Default Tried Both!

I tried to do both. Switching the cord around and also plugged it in directly to a the outlet. I also tried to locate a volume control, but couldn't seem to lessen the buzzing with any of the buttons/knobs. I'm not sure that I really found the volume, though.

    Please help!

We have a couple of members with this model. Sounds like something might be loose and vibrating though.

Please contact the seller immediately for advice and possible exchange for another machine.

If it is Texasauction, then don't start tinkering with the game even if their tech support says otherwise unless you get the go ahead in writing from Curtis Lawrence.

You don't won't to do anything which will void your warranty.

Here's what I did to "fix" mine - I disconnected something at random and guessed correctly on the first try. pics:

Also, here is a pic of the lever to open the front glass door, which I still couldn't find even after a billion descriptions, it took a miracle (a miracle called "the wife pointed at it and said 'how about that right there with the big yellow arrow pointing to it? is that it?'")

    cheers.

Oh, hey, side note, if you ever have a problem and think plugging the little black plug near the hopper in is the solution, it is oh so not. It turns hopper vibration on, which could be used to resuscitate heart attack victims in many underdeveloped countries.

EDIT: see below! I'm only a little right!

FYI: GOT IT... with the help of Barry at TA.

Even though he's not the "Pachinko Guy," Barry was extremely helpful and willing to try to help me troubleshoot the problem. It only took about 10-15 minutes.

Somehow, the green bamboo stick and lantern mechanism was stuck which was causing the left solenoid motor below the Reward Hopper to make the constant and loud buzzing noise. He had me unplug the solenoid, open up the glass, shake the bamboo stick a little until it could move 1/4" or so to the left and right, plug the solenoid in, and Wa-La!

Thankfully it's silent as a mouse when plugged in and not being used now.

Syph's post above was right on, too. That was the motor where the noise was coming from. The pictures were very helpful.

Thanks for your emails and posts.
