New owner - Gingin Maru

Just thought I'd introduce myself. I recently picked up a gingin maru locally. I was going to order a metal slug, but this one came up so cheap that I couldn't pass it up.

I have several arcade games in the game room and figured I needed a few pachislots to add a little more ambience and at the same time give some entertainment to those that come by but don't play arcade games.
I figure the kids will play with it as well.

Anyway, the game is great, loads of fun! Set it on 6 initiially, but after lurking around a bit set it down to 3. Still likes to pay out loads :;-)

Well, that's about it. Lot's of great info here and I just wanted to say thanks guys. I see that slug, KOF, and a few other pachis in my future!

I know a few of you guys have/had this maxchine, share some of your info with me regarding game play please.

Yep lucky, that's the one. It's killing me that it's out in my shed right now waiting to come in from the cold on Christmas. I had it over a friends house and we discovered that the secret bonus game is to feel compelled to dance to the games music - maybe gingin fit -- haha. For the 50$ paid for Maru, it's definitely going to be a keeper! Anyway, thanks for the kind greeting. I know I'm going to enjoy this bad boy a lot!

This site has me fired up for the next project. I got a vintage pachinko that I've been lugging around for a few years and planning on restoring and I'm finally gonna get that started. I just need to snag some balls up and give it a good cleaning, replace some springs, etc...anyway, help request post with pics will be coming soon I'm sure.

Hey, Topher, I got the Gin Gin Maru for Xmas. Do you happen to have the English translation manual for it. You know, something that tells you what those little digital guys are saying, payouts, etc?

Sorry you are having trouble finding a manual. I think that has been THE major problem with these gems.

Of course, since they were never intended for home us, I can completely understand why the material is elusive.
