Default Noobie doing a Ball Lifter Refurb

Okay, got started on the refurb for the ball lifter and it is all cleaned up, derusted, and ready for power. I included a few pics for bb since he was interested in how it worked. It is a conveyor belt, and it seems to have an overflow with a counter on it (don't know why, except maybe to see how often it malfunctions?) that would dump balls down below into an overflow bin. Now for the scary part, once I get the pachinko machine cleaned up, of connecting power. There is a female plug in one of the pics by the motor. Also, I had 2 wires (1 red and white) coming off the motor at the top and 2 more wires coming down the conveyor belt and ending up near the bottom. Both sets ended in bare wires with an unknown purpose. Any ideas on how to connect up? I could take apart the motor wiring compartment and send a pic if that will help. Thanks all for the input and help so far. I'll keep ya posted.

How are those metal "lifters" connected to the belt? Rivets?
