    Default Questions, Questions, Questions...

    Hi All:
After reading the faq, I (finally!) know the purpose of the button on the shooter knob. Makes a huge difference.

    Now a couple of questions.
There are 4 red leds that light up around the read-out telling you the number of spins built up, but they seem random. I'm sure they're not, but, like the control button, I can't figure them out.

On my machine (Chaplin) when the outer numbers are the same it will sometimes change scenes and show a different scene for the final digit. Is this random or is there a way to increase your chances? (Charlie will run off the screen and that kicks it up, but more often than not, he'll shrug and walk away.) When you get the 2 outer numbers matched, a voice says (something like) "Ahzoom!". Any translators out there? If I knew someone that read Japanese, I'd know what the 2 buttons on the front of the machine are for. I'll attach screen shots.

Thanks for all the help. In the few days since I've joined this group I've received more great info than I have in the years I've had the machine.

    Rick

The 4 LED's are not random, you cannot have more than 4 spins saved at one time.
That is what the shooter pause button is for, when all 4 LED's are on you want to pause the balls for a few seconds otherwise if a ball falls into the start pocket you lose a spin.
That is the way I play my machines anyway.
As far as the 2 matching numbers on the screen, that is called a reach, it is a random thing.
You just have to wait to match the 3rd number for the bonus.
I can't help you on the translation, but there are a few members that do know Japanese.

Thanks for the quick response, Raymond.
Thing is, the 4 led's do not seem to follow the actual numerical read-out. That will read "0" while there will be 3 or 4 of the led's lit.
Learning the secrets is half the fun.

They will not follow the numerical readout.
They will light up when a ball drops into the center pocket

The first pic, I think - ボ夕ンを押してね

    Second pic - ボ夕ンを押すと
    変動中のBGMを
    変更できるよ

    Third - ボ夕ンを押すと
    「パイナップルラグ」
    になるよ!

    Fourth - 今のBGMは
    「工ン夕ティナー」
    です

Hopefully will make it easier for the translators out there, not that great on the on line versions

I love that IME pad! It's just getting the stroke order correct, some are pretty hard to get.
