Default Help Needed. Pachinko machine without instructions!!

    Hi All:
2 years ago we purchased a Charlie Chaplin pachislo, but have no instructions. We play fairly regularly and have only hit 4 jackpots. Does anyone know the proper way to play? The few on-screen instructions are in Japanese. Any info would be very appreciated.
Also... Do most of the machines play the same way? We're looking to add another machine and don't want to end up in the same boat.
    Thanks much...

    Welcome

to see and check gameplay of a lot of different pachislo videos go to youtube.com and type in pachislo

you could try changing the odds on your machine to 6 for more bonus rounds!!

    Welcome to PachiTalk Rick!!

Pachis don't usually come with game specific instructions, although if you have been playing it for a couple of years you will know your way around it, but we do have general Pachislo and Pachinko play info & FAQ's in the Research Centre (opens to you after few posts)

Not sure if it is a Pachislo or Pachinko??

If it is a Pachislo then you can try changing the settings as Luckydog has suggested

If it is a Pachinko, perhaps the nails are set as they were in the Parlours and may need adjusting (gently with utmost care, there are Threads to assist)

4 jackpots in 2 years doesn't sound right if you are playing regularly...

    Hi All:
    Thanks for the quick responses.
I stand corrected. The Chaplin machine is a pachinko.
I've been told that there is no way to increase the odds on this machine.
I'll check your research section when it becomes available.
Love the machine, but would get alot more enjoyment if I knew how to work it!
    Thanks again...

you can adjust the the nails by the start pocket slightly out to help in the balls going in.

when you get 2 matching numbers or symbols its called a reach, and that a teaser to get you to keep playing.

some machines seem to pay out better, I had many back to back fevers on different machines. some within the first few balls shot

maybe your hot streak is building up and ready to pay out big

Hi Rick, And welcome to pachitalk!

Regular play? hard to define. The Pachinko machinaes are played almost 24/7 in the parlours in Japan, so just how much is regular play?

A Fever (AKA jackpot or matching three symbols)can occur somewhat regularly, but in some cases, can take a while to get. For example, Just recently, it took me almost 3 weeks of playing My Indiana Jones for one hour each night just to get it to Fever. It was in a dry spell...The driest I have ever seen. Since then, The machine seems to Fever every so often. Sometimes, with a fever, the machine can do something really special. Something you never have seen before in a Pachinko. It all depends on the machine you have.

My Advice...Keep playing! It's a good Idea to have at least 1000 balls on hand to reduce the amount of time you need to fill the hopper...Also, Encourage guests to play. There great conversation pieces and there is no skill involved.

Enjoy the machine...It won't be your last...trust me!
