Talking New to the Board with Too many machines!

Hello all, I never knew this board exsisted, I just though i was a strange guy with a bunch of japaneese pachihko machines in my basement. Glad to see that I am not alone. I have always been interested by these machines, the inner workings are quite amazing. I started out buying just one broken manual one at a garage sale, to having about 90 machines in various states of disrepair.

Thought I would share a few pictures. The wife actually had me ebay the whole lot a few weeks ago, but ended up canceling them because someone locally was interested, well never heard back. So, My question to you, what would you do with 90 machines that you wife wants you to throw away? Once we move, I would love to have a large parlor in the basement!!!

    Looking forwared to your ideas.

    Thanks!

    -John

I understand about the funds!! We're trying to get ready to sell the house, somehow the agent thinks it would show better without a bunch of machines double stacked taking up 1/2 the basement ;-)

If I were moving to that area, I would consider it a plus!

"do those come with the house?"

    Wife -

Oh, and about the title of this thread, there isn't any such thing as too many machines!

    I slap your face!

You'd be amazed how well they do without wrapping. I didn't wrap any of Arby's, and they don't in any of the containers from Japan.

Thats what I need, forget getting rid of them, just go ahead and order a container from japan, park the sucker in the driveway, and put me a computer and a sleeping bag in there. It would be my new home!

One would be amazed at how many machines can fit in the back of a F-150 towing a 16ft trailer! One would also be amazed at the looks of people passing you on the interstate wondering what the heck you had. And last, one would also be amazed when 5th gear goes out... Then 4th, hmmm, then 3rd. Pull over to the side, I guess the ol ford wasn't up to hauling all that, blew out the Ford (mitsubishi) transmission.
Maybe I shouldn't have used 5th gear for hauling, maybe the wind should have been at my back, maybe I shouldn't have been so overly excited to get my haul back to KC and kept it at 55mph. oh well.

You ought to see the tow truck guy from AAA, when he loaded the loaded f-150 onto his flat bed, and pulled the loaded 16ft trailer behind. That was an interesting 2 hour tow!

See, now you are starting to see a glimpse into the amount of luck that I have!
