Paypal changes???

I won 2 items on Ebay and paid with Paypal linked to my checking account.

usually the payment was transfered from checking and paid right away. now they are saying 3 days for payment to clear??

has anyone else had the same problem or has my bank changed their online payment policy??

the sellers will have to wait longer for payment and and I will have to wait 3 days before they ship.

I have not noticed anything like that but they did lower my buyer credit limit on me.
When I called them and asked them about it, they said they are doing it to a lot of people.
They said I would be getting a letter explaining it, but I have not recieved it yet.
I think that all these companies are tightening up due to the economy.

I had that issue when my back up credit card's date expired. When I updated my credit info if went back to normal.

well i got another nasty letter from paypal europe seems too much money has been going back and forth in my account and under EU money laundering regulations i have to provide more information as to who i am what i do etc..

That should clear things up for them.

If you pay with e check, it takes up to 3 days.
Regular checking account charges should go immediately. One auction I won only had it set up to only take e checks.

I didn't pay with echeck, i paid with checking account balance transfer, I think the slow down was because of expired backup c.c. with Paypal.

I don't like when buyers pay with echeck it takes to long for me to get their payment.

Once I shipped a package before echeck cleared and then the echeck bounced.

they got the item and never paid I was out sale price plus my mailing cost!!

Same three day wait period happened to me with paypal. I updated my account information. To include a card that was not expired and it went back to same day.

A couple of weeks ago paypal had some problems with e-checks that buyers sent to me, they just sat there and would not clear, I had to open a ticket with them to release 3 transactions that had not cleared after 2 weeks.
On the money laundering, I had City National Bank close my account because they couldn't determine what I did and were the funds were coming from. This is an account we had for almost 20 years. I offered to provide the information to open a new account and they didn't want to have anything to do with me, needless to say I was not a happy camper.

darn LD we take 3 days in the uk to clear through paypal whatever way we pay by card or instant transfer (not so instant)

When i use Paypal it goes through instantly and it is funded by my Current Bank Account

If i make a Bacs Transfer from the same account it can take 3 days to clear,
although they are currently trialing same day payments
