Default What is the best practice to route cables in Lumina?

    Hello all,

I have switched a Marilyn and a Galaxy Train cell. When putting the Marilyn together the top two cables (with the pink connectors) made closing the two top latches of the sun pack really difficult. I wiggled the cables around and it closed, but it is still tighter than it was initially. (Galaxy train has shorter cables - and they fit perfectly)

What is the best way to route the cables so that it is not too tight (as it may pinch the cable when its too tight)?

    Thanks for any suggestions...

    Regards,

    Miklos

I had a similar problem with my Star Wars and Indiana jones switching. It was just a matter to pay close attention to when I was closing the cabinet to not pinch the two wire groups at the top.

When you closed the latches, did you succeed to move the cables so that the latches were not tight at all?

The only obstruction I had between switching the two cells were the top pink connectors on the Lumina Frame. On Star Wars, the thicker bundle was shaped to match the green plastic and plug directly into the cell, whereas on the Indiana Jones, the plug was located in a different area. I had to do some tucking to get the thicker bundle around the electronincs and be able to close the green frame and slide the locks closed. It wasn't the best fit, but it worked.

I think my biggest problen was the fact that the larger bundle had a "shape" to it that conformed to the star wars cell and I had to re-route it for the Indy Cell. The bundle did not like to conform to a different shape. I now have each cell in it's own frame and I don't switch the cells anymore.
