Electric, gas, or heat pump questions

Hello, I'm new here just thought id mention that it's gonna be getting cold soon. If anybody's having problems with their heating equipment, drop me a line first before spending money. It could be something simple I could type you through.

We turn the heat on when the indoor temp is below 70. It's only set that high because of the aquariums.

We're supposed to be in the mid - low 40's, upper 30's over night the rest of the week here in Jacksonville.

In Florida when the temperature is below 70, it's officially cold.

I remember being at my partents house in November. The local kids had on parkas as they left for school. Though it was funny because I was sitting out side in shorts and a t-shirt.

Lucky you may have heat strips in your air handler or a crankcase heater in your scroll, but no heat strips inside the compressor.

we have similar issues here...

when most of the year you got tempratures in the 30's celcius that is..

if it drops 15 degrees its freezing...

the nights this week are getting cold---32 for the low 70 for highs.
thats the problem the temp changes daily

It's 29 here... yes I am thankful for the heat

I do have a house in Bonita Springs, but it is 50 there.

I think my Mom went swimming today She doesn't have Florida blood...yet
