Dr. Andrew Badley, director of the HIV and immunology research lab at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., said those tests have probably not been extensive enough.
He doesn't know so he better discredit the results. Heaven forbid if someone finds a cure and cuts off his gravy train. What a jerk.

When it comes to Biology and Biologic systems I would have to side with Dr Bradley in that you cant draw conclusions too quickly as there are so many factors involved.

It would be really awful to proclaim a cure just to have the virus rear its ugly head again after hiding someway somewhere in the body.

Hopefully they will do the tests needed and still find an absence of HIV.

If so, this will be the most dramatic discovery in modern medicine.

My understanding is that previous research using Bone Marrow had looked promising and at first had good results, but failed in the long run. I hope they have better success this time. Whether the do or not, each discovery is one step closer to a cure for the approx 30 million children and adults affected with this disease worldwide.

The word probably tells me he didn't look at the research...he is milking the AIDS cash cow at the expense of truly ill people. The cure for Aids will not come from the Mayo Clinic anymore then a cure for cancer will come from The American Cancer foundation.
