Just to give you an idea, I got 100,000 tokens shipped from California to Arizona for $140. Obviously more if your farther than one State away. It may be wise to look for a company in your State or choose one close if the prices end up being around the same.

Again it's supply and demand and there is a lot of demand right now = especially after the Christmas sales. 4.8 sounds ok for solid brass. What did Hoffman Mint tell you ? By the way if you deal with Hoffman Mint, they will dropship for you and still give you the overall quantity price. In other words if 5 people bought 20,000 each they will ship to each person and keep that same price for you. Other mints will probably do the same. Be sure to get a sample of their product before jumping into the lake on this as the token needs to be able to work...right?

Hoffman mint has yet to give me a quote. I got am email saying they will get back to me with a quote soon. I guess they have to find their trusty old abacus to do the math?

Hmmm no one on the phone could give you a quote? That is very unusual.

I finally think I have a good deal. I ordered 50,000 not 100,000 tokens. The price difference was only like .0005 per token and I didn't want to drop over $5000 on this. Anyway I am going to keep 26,000 for myself and offer up 8 lots of 3,000 tokens for sale. These are really nice he emailed me a pic and they look great. They are brass/copper looking and have "777" on one side and a pachislo slot on the other side. I will post this up in the for sale section with a price.

Not to be a spoiler, but the brass ones wear down very quickly, if htey are brass plated, are they bright copper in color? If so thos eare the brass plated ones. Total brass tokens go for much more and dont wear down! I think the brass plated ones are ones that leave shavings in the machines after some use!

They are brass plated. I don't beleive you would have any shaving problems. I had to use a knife and press extremely hard to get one to scratch. I did this as a test for myself when I got a small order of 500. I have been using them nonstop for about a month and they look great. If you ever have seen the show MONK - that's me (less the brilliant detective work). I could not use them if they wore to easily or if they left shavings. I just couldn't. If anything meets my standards, it usually meets everybodies, because I am as ANAL as they come.

I had nice brass ones from beachmall on ebay, they were great, never changed colors or anything. Im talking aobut the brass plated or copper plated, the ones I had faded and looked like crap after awhile. I think they came from either DGI or maybe good ole dean!

Those look identical to the ones that DGI sells.

They look to be the same to me as well (and that was my goal - I like his). He sells them $65 per 1000 shipped. You save $15 on 3000!!! Not a bad savings since I have only been involved in this for a month. I don't do his volume. This was my first big purchase and I am passing the savings along to whomever wants it. Think about it, if I can sell them at $5 less per 1000, how bad are some of these vendors fleecing us?

Ok after doing a close up of the pics of those tokens the Hoffman Mint HM mark is on the one that has the 3 7's :!: I checked a couple of old Hoffman Mint tokens and sure enuff it is the same.

So Utopia if you are not dealing direct with Hoffman Mint on these then you are paying too much !

Looks like Hoffman has decided to try to compete with the cheaper Japanese tokens ?
