Star Wars Help and other pachinkos video inside.

Well I'm having some problems with my Star Wars pachinko. I decided to add volume controls to all of them (Captain Roberts being the hardest) well i want this start-up thing to stop video below.



On the plus side I broke down and bought my first pinball machine. "Whitewater" to be exact and I can not wait for it to get here. I guess I'm starting to branch out.

That is completely normal on Star Wars unfortunately for most people, including me

What's the temperature in the room as you first turn it on.

temperature and power seem to be typical problems with star wars.

it is very slow strating if the room is too cool.

and a larger transformer might help your problem too, 4 or 5 amps doesn't seem to be enough.

a 7 amp transformer may help

Yes, many people have experienced start up problems with Star Wars,
you will find a few threads by searching

It's only happened to mine a couple of times, and for me, it was simply a case of switching off and on again

Same problem with both of mine, They don't like cold
BTW, I have one with 7 amp PS and one with 4 amp, Both act the same.

WhiteWater!! Nice Im thinking about getting one myself.Its a really fun and different machine. Hope yours in in good shape.

Welcome to the world of Pinball! That's really where my passion lies. Whitewater is a great machine.

As others have said, that seems to be an issue with Star Wars. I however have corrected it with mine. I did it by adding a power switch to the 24VAC side of the transformer (as opposed to switching the 120VAC side which didn't help). When you first plug it in to the wall, there is alot of noise and surge as the transformer powers up. So, the 120VAC is always on to the transformer and both legs of the 24VAC out go to a double pole switch before going to the machine.

Never had a problem powering it up since!
