Just lost an auction for a Nishijin B - Power Flash

I've only seen pictures of 2 or 3 of the "Power Flash" machines...someone on this site has one in their album...I can't remember who...

That machine really looks cool...as I count them, the machine has a total of 10 tulip winners, a center piece feature winner, and 2 other non-tulip winners. The back is a typical "B" style...which is what I am most familiar with.

I had to leave the house (Kohl's had a big sale on candlesticks, and my presence was desired by the other half...imagine my excitement to be torn away from football games and ebay auctions)...so, I put in a bid with a couple of hours to go. When I left, it was the winning bid, I just got back to find that I was outbid by $2.50.

The winning bid was $113.75, and they were going to charge $72.00 to ship it. Truth be known, I've got my hands full with my other machines, but I've had my eye on that model for a while. It's one of those really unique ones that you don't see very often.

Oh well. I'll just work on my others.

I've never really understood what was going on with that website. There never really seems to be any activity or changes...I saw where a couple of months ago they were trying to sell the website a few machines and parts, etc for somewhere around $5,000 on ebay...I don't think there were any takers as other than a few machines, there really didn't seem to be a product.

I've located another one...it's got some slight differences than the one that is on pachinkomedic and the one that just sold on ebay, but it's essentially the same. The guy wants $150, but then I'd have to ship it as well. I may just wait it out and see what comes around in the future. It's not really THAT crucial, but as you guys know, when you get the fever, it's hard to break it...

I know what you mean. Sorry you didnt win the machine but I hope a Pachitalk member did, to keep it in the family.

I love Power Flash its one of my most endearing machines.

It's very easy to break, the very second your wallet goes "AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH" and then passes away.
