Wanted to show off my dads machine! Nishijin B

Hi all! My dad brought this home from Okinowa when he was stationed there ages ago. He has passed on but I kept carrying this machine with me thru lifes trials.

I now have a decent gameroom and this is coming out of retirement to have a home there.
Thanks for all of you building this forum as it is helping me a ton!

Your machine is the same as the first pachinko that I owned. I called it Dolphin.

I just got finished refurbishing my "Dolphin" machine. I still need to work on the electrical and the frame, but the guts of the machine were completely removed and cleaned, and I hand polished every pin. Here is a picture of mine.

Some model paint will make your plastic pieces spring back to life...check out Eddie's and my machines for reference. When I paint the really small areas, I just use the end of a paper clip...I get a dab of paint on the end and drop it into the area that I'm painting...it usually just fills in the area nicely.

That was going to be my next question Big Dog! As you can see my dolphin has lost alot of its paint sitting around. I'll give that a try. Thanks again!

Very nice machine Eddie. I hope mine comes out as good as yours! I have brown back plastic where yours has blue. Hmmm kinda wierd. I'm gonna start cleaning it tonite.
I also just bought another vintage Sankyo with a Horse racing theme for $25. I have to go pick it up this weekend. This starting to become an addiction!

Yea I'm already hooked. The one of my dads will be in the family forever and I have an addictive personality. I get into alot of different things and like to soak up the knowledge. Atleast the girlfriend won't have to worry about me hanging out in the wrong places.
I am foaming at the mouth to get the other one but I can't get there til the weekend.
Now if I could only remember where I put the pachinko balls and bucket. I hid them from the kids so they wouldn't mess with it til I got it cleaned up. That was 8 months ago and I have lost my balls!
