Identify this Pachinko please

Hi Pachi lovers
A contact of mine has for 31 years this old Pachinko machine, he thought this machine was made by Sanyo but he would love to know the name of this type , there is a dog in the middle of the screen and when you shoot a ball in it the ears move up and down.

Ok hope to hear a name soon.

This machine is from aprox. 1974 and above the dog is written Dog Joe, maybe you could give me some more info regarding this machine?

I'm not sure anyone has ever come up with real names for vintage machines..not sure they had names like modern ones do..

Some have names given to them thike the No More War machines because they say it on the center feature, but I don't think its actually its name!!

Yeah, I think everyone kind of makes up their own names based on their personal interpretation of the centerpiece.

Check out Bill Connelly's website...he's got a full page of his restorations...names like "Big Owl" and "Swings and Spinners".

I've got a Nishijin B that I call "Big Mouth"...centerpiece is like Wimpy from Popeye cartoon...has the little hat on his head, and his mouth is open really wide.
