Halloween Candy

We are all or mostly all to old to trick or treat, most of us just pass out the candy.

But what is your favorite candy, if you could trick or treat?

While I'm still fancy a good candy snack now and again, what in the bowl I can't pass by without taking one is a tootsie roll.

I would have to say my favorite treat would be the mini chocolate bars.

O'henry's (Canadian Chocolate bars i dont know if they are available in the States or not)

but again if it was a good chocolate bar it was awesome..

I love them, it became popular here when it was introduced as a bar named for Henry Aaron. Marketing, you have to love it.

I love black licorice, especially the Dutch variety! It's hard to find here!

Drop, yum-yum. My favorite candy bar is 3 musketeers or Reeses cups. My favorite halloween candy is the candy corn ( I like circus peanuts too)

Maryjanes are still very good but the overhead from my dentist prevents me from enjoying them to their absolute pleasure.

circus peanut and candy corn are only good if they are very fresh

when we were kids the lady on the corner gave out the last years xmas hard candy

another one gave out some pennies, she had lots of trick or treaters

normally anything chocolate would do, but Twix bars and Reese's Peanut butter by far outweigh the rest for me.

I can not keep chocolate in the house as I have been known to make a meal out of it! Watch out Reeses and Snickers!

I miss the pillow case of goodies to go thru after a long night of trick or treating, but it was really frustrating when mom hid all of the candy from me and would take charge of when and how many pieces I could have. What was she thinkin???

I remember the sorting too..

The good stuff got separated from the not so good stuff and then the stuff you would only eat after everything else was gone.
