4 buttons

hi people
i have just got my 6th machine called KYUUJI
there is nothing wrong with the machine, just wondered what the 4 buttons do which are placed up next to the lcd screen at the top of the machine?
there is two buttons iether side of the lcd screen marked as A.B.C.D.
i havn't got a clue what they are for so if someone knows please let me know

I think its the same deal as Metal Slug. They control the menus on the video screen. D clears the data. Not sure of the others off the top of my head. But do a search for metal slug.

be careful playing with those buttons, you might turn off the lcd screen by mistake!!!
