Default The Pinball Hall of Fame

    Hi Folks!

I thought I would share with you some photos of the Pinball Hall of Fame I took in Las Vegas last year. I visited again this year, but unfortunately did not bring a camera.

Those of you wishing to visit this place on a Vegas trip will have an easy time finding it. From the strip, a cab ride is $20, but for less than $2, you can take the bus and be there in 20 minutes.

To bus there from the strip, pick up the eastbound Tropicana bus (located in front of the Tropicana, the intersection with Excaliber, New York, New York, and MGM Grand) Exit the bus at Pecos Avenue and the Pinball Hall of Fame will be located on the northwest corner in the same shopping center as Tropicana Cinemas.

I took many photos and vids. I'll start off with the classic machines. Below is Bally Circus and Carnival, and Bally Pinball Wizard.

Some non-pinball games you'll find there (only a few).

Both of those were Bally's. I wonder what year they are. A nickel each! It's a shame there isn't a company producing replicas or similars. I'll bet there's a market for machines like that!

I haven't been here for many years, they do say they have a game museum section with games you can olay too.

Below are some more classics, Bally Dixieland, Gottlieb's Golden Arrow, William's Flying Turns (cool machine with a deep marquis (backglass?) that contained a mechanical racetrack and cars that circled it), Williams Space Mission, Miami Beach, and Williams High Hand.

Just a note, I found several of these classics with "For Sale" signs attached, some working models for as little as $500.

Great pictures. I went there last year. Didn't get a chance to stop buy this year when I went to Vegas. Last year, my girlfriend and I stopped there on our way back home. She didn't expect to like it, but had fun. We stayed there almost 2 hours.

Anyone who likes pinball or just wants to see a wide range of history on the machines should stop by if in the area.

Here are my last few photos taken at PHF. Star Wars Episode 1, Twilight Zone, The Pinball Circus and Family Guy. These photos are only a small fraction of the machines found here. I will try to get a video together of the place and get a link posted (my pc won't recognize my dvds at the moment), and you'll get an idea of how many machines are there.

If you go, feel free to post your photos in this thread!
