Default Compatibility: Toyotec Twin Tales and Automatic Ball Lifter

I've just bought a Toyotec Twin Tales through an Ebay auction and have been looking at the automatic ball lifter from Slotsdirect that I see mentioned all over PachiTalk.

As I'm new to Pachinkos, does anyone know if this ball lifter is compatible with the Twin Tales Pachinko? Will installation (by me) be a fairly simple procedure (assuming I'm at least mildly mechanically-inclined)?

Also, does anyone know why the picture of this ball lifter on the Slotsdirect site has the "up-tube" extending 4 inches above the top of the Pachinko machine? Is this really necessary, and, if not, has anyone modified their own so that the tube does not extend above the top?

Thanks in advance for the responses.

FYI: I did pay too much ($380) for this Pachinko machine :-( but at least didn't win one of the first couple of auctions ($600+). :-)

    Thanks,

You done good on the price, Fantastic machine, the ball lifter will work with it, the tube on the end has a 6 inches of flex spring tubing to make the bend and not crimp up.
You might have to angle it like the Lord of the rings or cut some of the bottom of the frame away. I got four of them and have had no problem putting it on any machine, I find them really helpful to not to have to ball feed by hand. now if you feed in alot of balls and not do some winning, than those balls will need to go some where.

    check out what i did.
