... Not sure if I should groan that or not. Artistically, it would be a wonderful thing. It has my mind racing with possibilities. I am sure that sometime in the future it will be much better.

I love this idea. Imagine Pachislos with no light bulbs, just this stuff, with coloured light filters, stuck on the outside of the casing, with a metal contact on the back to supply the current. No more fiddly bulb changes, just peel and replace.

Also, as a Fun Casino operator, I'd love to see strips of this stuff on a Wheel of Fortune, so that the winning section lights up as it passes over a contact. I know that this can be done now using 'light-boxes' and standard bulbs but it makes the kit bulky and difficult to transport. This would be so much easier. So where can I get some???

The light emitting diode sheet is a good idea and I'm happy to see they are making progress. We are already benefiting from LED technology with our pachi's. I'm impressed with how many are used on the pachislo's I have, and how the pachislo's are changing as they use newer LED tech. For instance, now they seem to be using multicolor LED's (LED's that can change color from red to green or some other color) and what appears to be multicolor LED strips on the newest machines I've seen on youtube. We will all benefit from the lower power consumption and the longer 'bulb' life of LED's - not to mention the fancier effects that are possible with the newer LED technology!
