    Try this homeade hotdog recipe!
Being in college you make do with what you can..
Wrap a hot dog in cheese.
Lay a tortilla flat and pour taco seasoning in it.
    a touch of salsa
then wrap the cheese wrapped hot dog in the tortilla
    Microwave for 30 seconds
    ZIZZBAM! Taco-dogs!
You can add bologna if you like, I make some with and some without bologna.

Not really a hot dog person, but I do love tacos. Costco does have a nice hot dog though.

    why yes it is...

and just after the cash registers they have this nice little canteen of sorts.
where you can buy 1 hotdog and a softdrink (refillable) for 1 euro.. or 1.40 USD or just a hotdog for 60 euro cents.

quite the bargain and they are awfully tasty!

I was just about to write that although they have a nice little cafe instore, also elsewhere on the way out they have a little kiosk where you can buy Hotdogs and Icecreams really cheaply,

I think the hotdogs were 30p or 40p last time I went, I was very dubious the first time I bought one, but was suprised by just how good they were!!

we served Boar's head beef hot dogs and Bahama Momma smoked sausage at all the convience stores I managed that had a deli.

we used fresh cut tomatoes, onions and lettuce, along with saurkraut or chile along with mayo, ketchup and regular or hot deli mustard.

I grew up in Johnstown, PA... and would have to say that the famous "Coney Island" there had the best dogs I've ever tasted.

Deli mustard, chili sauce, and lots of chopped onions!

The place was a real dive, but that just added to the 'ambiance' of it all.

They'd make them up about ten or so at a time... laying the dogs and buns on their arm, from the fingers up to armpit... then use the mustard stick on each one, followed by the sauce and onions... all still on the arm!

The coveted 'Queen Dog' was the tastiest. That was the one closest to the arm pit.

Alas, the health department made them stop that fine preparation technique some time ago, and only allowed dogs up to the elbow... making about six at a time.
They are still good, but just not quite the same for some reason.

    Guys, GuYs, GUYS!!!

As well as offering the best Fun Casino in the North East of England, my day job sees me running a mobile catering trailer, providing hot food for truck drivers, building contractors, etc.

I serve sausages, best back bacon (for those of you stateside, English bacon differs from US bacon, in that there's actually more meat than fat! I've heard US bacon described as ' a slab of animal fat with a red biro line down the middle!), 90% beef burgers, 100% chicken fillet, full English breakfasts... you get the idea. I REFUSE to serve hotdogs! I dont know if US hotdogs are different to the ones over here, after all 'they' say 'chips' when 'we' say 'crisps'; we say 'chips' when 'they' say 'fries', so it could all be lost in translation. My point is that, as fast food goes, hotdogs are the lowest of the low. Mechanically reclaimed 'meat' (notice thats 'meat', not pork, beef or chicken) pulped, pureed, mixed with God-knows-what else then coloured and shaped to resemble a sausage. There's bone and allsorts in there guys! At least the sausage I sell has the meat content listed on the packaging and I know that my stock is better than average.

On this basis, I move that the best possible hotdogs is 'No Hotdog!'

    + + +:katebush:= Hotdog!!!
