Default What is considered a "good" Pachinko machine?

    Hello all,

after reading various posts, it seems that some machines are more appreciated than others.

Why is that? What makes the machines different?

Would there be a list of :
    - best (most appreciated) machines and
    - really boring ones?

    Thank you for your guidance!

    Miklos

check youtube, there are many videos of pachinko and pachislo machines in action.

I almost always did that before I made a purchase.

an actual video is worth 10,000 words

A good pachinko machine is one that uses balls.

That being said, I pick mine based on theme and music. Maharaja is my all time favorite. Great music and 1/2 dressed dancing girls. I also like Rocky (great video sequences and songs from the movie) Saint Maria has classical Mozart music. Theme is king what is boring for some is exciting for others. Pick a game based on what you like.

So all the machines you've every purchased were only good after you fixed them?

All machines are good, the ones that work are better (depends on your 'fixin' skills )

I have always judge the quality of the machine on how much skill was required to win. The newer ones tend to need less skill.

I am looking into buying a unit from Imatrix (as they are local to me).

Should I assume there is some fixing required? They are advertised as ready to use... Or do normally all units require some fixing?

(Still learning about these amazing machines - thank you for explaining...)

I would think all machine are ready to "use", unless otherwise stated. This means there should be no "fixes" needed. Unless of course you want to modify it.

Naw, they should be ready to play from them.

Some of us have gotten machine (knowingly) that required repair. Either because they were unique or cheap or both.

Pick a machine that is available. You will love it. All Pachinko machines are unique in their own way. I can't get enough of them. I play everyday.
They are all fun, but you will find that some machines have a theme that strikes you in a certain way. But the only way you will find out about how unique each machine is, is to purchase a variety of machines. I love EVERY SINGLE MACHINE I HAVE, and I wouldn't give up a single one.
They are beautiful, fun to play, as reliable as my Toyota's , and just as cool to look at.(eye candy). No matter what machine you purchase, Modern that is, build it into a case, give it a DaveRob Dongle, 2500 balls+ and you will enjoy a free trip to a pachinko parlor in your mind, erery time you play.
    All Pachinko Machines are GOOD!

For a list of good machines, see my sig below!

I find that machines that play continuous music are a lot more fun. Most machines play the same boring music clip over and over 'till you're tired of hearing it. Vicky Chance and Super Stadium are two that play music that makes you want to keep playing. Reaches are fun on the video screen models (which the former two aren't). Julie the Pinball is pinball themed and actually has a small pinball field below the LCD, and has the best light show wow factor of any of my machines. In the end, it really comes down to personal taste, which for everyone is a little different.

The only bad machines are the ones that electrocute you. Other than that, they're all good. Honestly, I've never seen a pachinko I didn't want.
