    Default Cheap Woody Woodpecker fixrupper

It ends in less than an hour. Not working, but possibly fixable?

I was eyeing that one, but if you look closely, the electronics were knocked loose (where the heck is the ball return? in the back+duck taped LCD board), and the LCD display shows possible water or other damage.

My maximum bid was $10 I lost!

I was looking at that one too, but the shipping killed it for me. If it was local I would have been all over it.

I took a chance - win some, lose some. Shipping wasn't too bad for me and if nothing else I can use the cabinet and enjoy trying to figure out what's wrong. I bought an Ultraman 7 a couple months ago off e-bay that was listed as a parts machine and it worked fine - was a Hammacher Schlemmer return.

the loose panel in back may just need to be popped back in place,

or you may have to jerryrig something to hold it in place.

check the dongle and all connections before you even think of plugging it in

and before you start tearing it apart, ask here first for advice

    Good luck!

I'm curious too, hopefully you can fix it.

    Keep us posted

I actually think the seller screwed themselves..shipping was $54 for me, I bet it will be closer to 80-90 with that cabinet.

Here's a pic of my $33 woody with cabinet. It was a wreak when it came. I think UPS did most of the damage. The video screen and most of the boards were hanging by the wires. The seller packaged it with peanuts that got EVERYWHERE. The cabinet funnel was broken into 6-parts. The biggest problem was the mounts for the video were both broken off.

I took eveything off the machine - krazy and hot glued the video mounts, reassembled the boards, checked all connections, replaced broken dongle. The screen came on but wouldn't spin - took it all apart again, and after a couple hours found a connector that was broken and inserted backwards.

It was fun working on it - but I would have been aggravated if it didn't work.

I'm glad you got it working, the cabinet alone was almost worth what you paid shipped
