Cant unlock my pachislo : anymore

Hi i just got my street fighter 2 pachislo a few days ago everythign worked great had no problems. Then the other night i stupidly took it to my friends house with tokens still in the machine and when putting it in the car had t oput it on its side . Now it wont unlock Im guessing it has a token or tokens jamming the lock. Ive had my arm in the back and the bottom but still cant manage to unlock it.

Anyone gto nay ideas on how to get this open ?

you may have sprung the hinges, try liifting the door from the bottom as you are opening it.

the hinges are adjustable.

Thanks for the idea tryed and still nothing. At least i can still put coins in the hopper form the back hole but id still liek to get it open .

you could try tiling it on both sides and gentle tapping it on the stand, then try the latches again reaching in from the back

Have you tried looking in the hole with a flashlight ??

yup tryed that too. If i look at it from the side there is a gap that gets bigger as if ive not closed it properly. I might try hitting it a few times

you could try tiling it on both sides and gentle tapping it on the stand, then try the latches again reaching in from the back

I can just reach the lock i think from the back not sure if im reaching the right latches or what. If i turn the key to the left i can feel something move.

Look on the bottom (right under side) of your machine. See if there is an oval hole under there. If not, you can easily cut it out since it would only be held in place by tabs of wood. You should be able to easily reach in from there to manually release the latch, or at least access it. The only problem you may have with this would be if there is a plastic bin in that location. Usually the plastic bin is not there.

it has the plastic bin there with the same oval hole in the plastic bin. I can get my arm in a bit but cant quite reach the lock. I migth have another go tomorrow at gettin it open meanwhile i just orderd myself another machine a devilman one and im gettin it for £50 less than the auction price .
Is there any pics of the inside of the door of the street fighter machine ? maybe that would help me to find the latch.l

try putting it on ther floor up side down and then try the key.

Tryed that too. Somone said try some wd40 in the lock so wil lgive that a go when i find some or buy some later on. My niece has been playing it for a few hours today and i just need to stick my hand in the back to get more tokens if she runs out so its not too bad. If the hopper jams or if bulbs need changed htne i will have problems.

You mentioned that there is a gap in the door when you shined a flashlight inside. It sounds like the door is "Cocked" and one latch is wedged on the frame where it latches the door shut. I know you tried reaching in and manually lifting the small tab in the middle. how about trying this... The top and bottom latches are connected and work in tandem with each other. (this is based on my Gamera slot). instead of trying to lift the middle tab(Yes..lift to unlock) try reaching the bottom latch and pressing Down. if the lock is in normal position, it should be 90 degrees off the door and level. when pressed down, the top latch will also move down. on my gamera, this is easy to do and there is no resistance. if yours is hard to do, then I bet one of the latches is bent in or "wedged" against the locking tabs on the frame.
