Sheep!?

So, a couple of days ago i was checking the local thrift shoppes, a weekly raid if you will. And i stumbled across, among many other things (atari 2600, felix the cat plushie, lava lamp) A serta sheep, number 1/16 to be precise. Now I decided hey i'll buy the little fella, most because I see him on here all the time. . . And it was only 1.47 (half off green tag!) So, Could someone explain to me why serta sheep? I mean yes, it is cute. And mine has a pacifier too! And a little tag that says "parents out of a job due to serta matress"...

Why Serta Sheep? The old saying "to count sheep in order to fall asleep" doesn't apply with a Serta Mattress, so no one needs them to fall asleep. Clever, but over used advertising IMHO. Kinda like the energizer bunny. As for the 1/16, I doubt that means it's number one out of only 16 made if that is what you were thinking, but rather it may be style 1 out of 16 different styles. Cool Find. Sounds like you've joined the revolution!

Pork? Most places I have been to offer beef, lamb or chicken. Pork was never an option. I aways thought authentic gyro's were made of lamb. Wow, I never stop learning here at pachitalk.

Well Greek restaurants in North America tend to offerr the variety, of chicken beef and lamb. and they tend to make an entree out of it. you know standard rice potatoes / gyro or large souvlaki

here its street food, kind alike a sandwich shop..
Chicken Gyro is offered here as well but its not as popular as the pork..
