Default Where is the Sensitivity Setting??? Pachinko shooter knob

I have had this machine for about 1 year and I am having problems with the sensitivity setting on the dial that shoots the ball. In the Operators Manual that I have, it states that there is an adjustment knob on the back, but I can't find the thing! The only adjustment knob that I can find is for the volume. Anybody know where I might find the adjustment knob I'm looking for?? Thanks!!!

possibly where the physical turn knob is attached to the machine.. my pachis turn knob is bolted on, and the big screw used also adjusts the power. Then again mines not a jurassic park =/ worth a try though!

Is your Manual specific to your machine?

If you were given a generic manual your machine may NOT have a sensitivity adjustment.

Check the Manuals in the research center and see if you can find one for your machine, either actual game or the same case.

    Hope this helps.

I've just had a look at the Jurassic Park Manual in our Research Centre

it is in the Kyoraku Volcano Frame I believe

I can see no mention of a Shooter Sensitivity Setting and it is not labelled on the pictures either

I presume then that this Model does not have one??

However, a member that actually owns a Pachinko in this frame may be able to give you the definitive answer

I must agree... no adjustment is present on that frame.

Hummm sensitivity ie how strong the ball is launched . The amount that you turn the front knob clockwise ?

Some machines adjust the total amount of force with which the hammer hits the balls.

Its akin to adjusting the spring tension on Vintage Pachinko Shooter arms.

This way you can limit or increase the total amount of force on the hammer for the entire range of travel of the shooter knob.

Its a nice feature that allows you to really fine tune the way you play the game.

    Hey there,
Yes, I am referring to the amount that the front knob is turned clockwise to shoot the balls. The problem is that from say... 8 o'clock to 12 o'clock there is a dead spot. If you quickly turn the knob ALL the to the top and then back it slowly down the knob will then work in the problem area. I was hoping there was a way I could adjust the sensitivity. Other than that, I am not sure how or if I can correct this problem. Thanks!!

Ok , it sounds like the resistor is bad in the shooter knob . I've never come across that in my 20+ modern pachinkos but i guess it happens .

the solution , it looks like the the shooter assembly will have to be replaced .

Sorry about the bad news but it sounds like it works with a little assist from you .

Just a thought... are you sure that you are making constant contact with the grounding ring ??? Make sure your fingers are wrapped all the way to the ring while you shoot.

The good news is... if it has to be replaced, I consider that machine knob an easy swap
