This machine is an "Akagi", based on an anime by the same name.

The same studio made another anime that already has a pachislo...Kaiji (mosquito).

Has anyone seen this one for sale in the US anywhere? This has peaked my interest

Edit: Nevermind, it was just announced August 2008, LOL, will be awhile.

To give some more background, the mahjong match they have on screen, in the actual story, Akagi is betting his blood for money.
Thus if he loses a match, he will lose blood, if he loses too much, he dies.
Can't wait to buy this machine when it comes over here!
