Jaws Pachinko

Hello All!

I'm new here, but certainly not new to forums, I am a full time web developer and entrepreneur addict.

I have recently caught the pachinko bug and just ordered a jaws one from slot-pachinko.com and getting volume controls installed. Does anyone else here have the jaws machine? How do you like it? I did a search but didn't find too much mentioned on here.

First mod I want to do is the recycle ball mod I've read about on this forum, I want the machine to be able to be sealed off and never have to load or unload balls.

I'm glad I found this forum! Finding pahinko information on the web is nearly impossible I'm finding.

Welcome DJ-Sound! This is the place for answers. I'm still a newbie here myself, but have had pachinko and pachislos for a while, vintage and modern. I do not have a Jaws machine. I've seen it and it does look interesting, for sure! Anyhow, check back often...you should get some discussion pretty soon. I have Jaws I think it is Great !!! Very entertaining, and a great use of the frame lights and sounds

OH! and just be warned... the Big Bang P=aAchinko Frame Squeals like a car alarm LOUDLY for 30 seconds when you turn it on

Well I got it in today.

Looks great, but Curt is the biggest A-Hole I have ever given money to!!!

I will never do business with such a ungrateful jerk again. I wanted to post my hate for this illusion of a company but wanted to make sure I got it first.

If your going to bash someone like that in an open forum, you should at least give some details to why your unhappy. Its not nice to name call with out reason. And this way others know what to look out for when ordering.

Sorry about the rant.

I've been talking to Curt over email and phone for awhile trying to get information about these machines. (he was really kind before I ordered)

After ordering I asked do these include volume controls?, he replied " THAT IS OUR COST WE PAY $9/EACH for them!!! "

I'm like mmmk, next I order the volume controls off his site, he emails back in a similar matter saying you gotta order 3 times (at $14 each) to get full volume control - so I did and asked why am I paying shipping if its coming in the same box - he replies in all caps saying he has tech guys to pay (but no customer support staff obviously) so a week goes by and I wonder hmmm I really don't like this guy, but I wonder if it even shipped.

So I called and asked if you give out any tracking numbers (like his ebay auctions say) he nearly explodes saying he sent it and its a pain to find it again. I'm like I checked every email account and spam folder I have and I assure you it was not delievered - yes I'm arguing but geesh, I've gotten better customer support from $5 purchases, this is over $300.. Long story short he looks up the number in under 10 seconds - I look it up and apartnely someone signed for me and its been sitting at my office for awhile :-x

Anywho not soo bad I guess, just was shocked with this guy's attitude towards customers. The machine came packed nicly, wasn't too dirty (and smelly) and it works so I'm happy. I emailed Hiro and got a reponse in under a min!! with his inventory list - I will defently be ordering through him soon.

With Curt...I guess as long as you don't ask any questions, or call or email him, just win the ebay auction or order off his site it'll be okay.

I have been in online business for 8 years - and its very hard, its truly amazing this company has survived.

Update: Converted to Cyclic - just a few snips with wire cutters!

I took it apart as much as I could without using any tools and cleaned everything with windex wipes - removed a massive amount of smoke residue.

From a total pachinko newbie I have to say I'm extremely impressed with how this machine is designed - I could disassemble in seconds... an american pinball machine runs upwards of $6k for the price of these things I think I just found a new hobby to be obsessed with.

I'll start another thread in the cabinet section this weekend with pictures of my idea for this machine.
