    Post Payline Lights stuck on

I have a Hanabi slot machine by Aruze and I am having a problem. The last two payline lights stay on from the time I cut the machine on until the time I cut it off. I have unplugged and reseated all of the connectors and checked all fuses. Connectors are tight and the fuses are good. I don't know what is causing this problem but it is driving me nuts. The first, three lights come on and off like the they are supposed to. I am just wondering if anyone might have an idea as to what could be causing this problem and what I might have to to repair it or where I might send the part in for repair or where I can purchase the new part. I have a feeling something is wrong with the motherboard. The light board gets very hot on that side from the bulbs staying on. Thank you for your help.

Yes the machine works fine otherwise. I really am not having any other problems with it as far as I know. It is playing great besides that. It is just annoying. As soon as I turn it on, those lights are on. Here is another example of what it is doing. If I am in the big chance bonus and get the three blue fans, the number one payline (center payline) should be lit only. But it is not. The two payline lights below the center payline light are still lit. If I insert one coin, the center payline lights up but the two payline lights below the center payline light are already on. They never go off.

Ok. I cleaned the 1 bet 2 bet and max bet buttons. Didn't help. I even unplugged the connectors from the switches to the board. Lights still on. I did do some further investigation. I notice when I cut the power switch on I hear a noise inside the power supply. It sounds almost like a relay or something energizing. When hear this noise, those two lights come on. If I unplug the harness from the power supply to the motherboard, the power supply starts making a similar noise but it sounds like it is pulsating.

I tried to clean the 1 bet, 2 bet, and max bet buttons but it did no justice. The lights are still on. I even unplugged the connectors for the buttons to the board and it made no difference. I notice when I turn the swtich on for the power I hear a noise in the power supply. When I hear that noise, those two lights come on. If I unplug the connector that goes from the power supply to the motherboard, I hear a noise almost like a clicking coming from the power supply. This is very strange. But once again, as soon as I turn on the power, there is a noise in the power supply and those lights come on and never go off until you turn off the power. No flashing, blinking, or anything. Thanks. I am going to have to do something to fix it. I just don't know what yet. I need some more suggestions.

Is it possible to trace the wires or leads from the bulbs back to their power source and or other controlling component?

It may be possible. I will have to take a look at this and see. This may take awhile.

OK. I have traced the wires. They all lead back to the main motherboard to what I think is a transistor. That is far as I traced. Well now the new development: over the weekend, the other payline lights started to stay on plus the three lights for the stop buttons. So now, all of the payline lights and the stop button lights are on constantly. I have a feeling my motherboard is going crazy. Does anyone have any other suggestions, or does anyone know where I might find a replacement motherboard for this thing that won't cost me an arm or a leg, or possibly where I might be able to get this one repaired? Any information will be gladly appreciated. Thank you very much.

That's a common machine. I would contact stealthhomeamusement.com; maybe they have a board in stock. It shouldn't cost that much if they have one.

Well just to update you. The payline lights are still stuck on all of the time and now all reel stop button lights are also on all of the time. I definately think the board is bad. I tried to email stealth home amusements and ask them some questions about this and if they thought I needed a new board but they never replied to me. I tried twice. If anyone has any suggestions or comments, they would gladly be appreciated. Also, does anyone know if there is anywhere that repairs these boards? Thanks.

it sounds as though you have some bad drivers on your main board if the game is still playing just keep using it till you get a replacement board or can find someone to replace the drivers on your current board .
