    Smile Battle Caesar

I'm wondering if any of you fine people out there can tell me anything about this Mizuho Machine released 2007

I have seen it listed as Battle Caesar Sega and believe it is an RPG type of game

It does appear in the Research Centre, but I was hoping that some one here might own this machine and
be able to give me a quick review

    http://www.pachitalk.com/forums/loca...47&linkid=1122

As you all know I'm not usually a Pachislo Person, but other members of my family are and have expressed
    interest in this one

Any help greatly appreciated as always

Well I have had family visiting unexpectedly this evening,

so I have so far only managed to get the machines unpacked and fired up with a few tokens through
    each just to check them,

and every thing seems as it should be...

I will be giving them both a work out over the weekend

From Order to switched on and ready to play in 3 days,

That's a great deal and service from Steve / Skytvspecials / 777 heaven

P.S. the new machines are of course the Battle Caesar and I succumbed to the lure of Ultraman
    with the Ultraman Club ST

They're just "Light" cookies, and you eat them with your pinkie extended!

Every time I visit my Mom in NY I always stop and get a big Black and White cookie. Its one way I achieve perfect balance between the dark side and the light side. Plus they taste awesome.

Okay I thought I would tell you a little bit about this Pachislo, as I don't think there have been any mentions in other threads...

Firstly the case is all metal, there are 4 speakers and I do believe it has a little Sub Woofer thingy inside
you can really feel it kick in at certain times in the game, really nice sound and 'thump'

It has an interesting design for the token slot, a little wheel at the back, so that you can throw in a few tokens and they automatically feed through into the machine with ease

I really like the lights on this one, there are also led lights to each side of the screen that 'chase' different colours

The screen is huge, amazingly detailed high definition and bright, the look of the game and stunning scenery reminds me of a Dreamcast game I used to play called 'Shenmue' and the action doesn't just scroll left to right, the scenery pans around all the time, with ancient buildings like the colosseum in the background

Battle Caesar is an RPG type game play, you play as the Hero, a Gladiator named Caesar, and all the time things are happening on screen, he can be walking about in 'Metropolis' a roman market place, eating, buying armour, meeting people, our hero never seems to stop, he has a little friend accompanying him on his travels, seems to be a young boy, perhaps he is in training learning from Caesar??

Occasionally he will be challenged by strangers and our hero draws his sword and fights, when he wins he collects gold coins from the defeated which are accrued at the top left of the screen
He uses these gold coins to pay for food, armour, sword or chariot or even a rose

The rose comes in handy for wooing his intended, sometimes he is challenged to climb the walls to her palace, mostly he falls before he reaches the top, but I have made it to the top once so far

Upon reaching the top he espies the beautiful maiden, he talks to her, I have no idea what he is saying, it's japanese, but you don't need to know, you can tell by their expressions as he offers her the rose

I was most surprised and amused to see her slap him!!

    Hard!!

Anyway there seems to be 3 areas of the map that our hero frequents, Metropolis, Lake Side and Training Arena

    There are 3 different Bonus Rounds, 3 x Blue 7's, 3 x Red 7's and a Caesar Chance Round

The Bonus rounds see Caesar in the Arena in combat against some formidable opponents, some huge and weilding awesome weapons,

and some seem to be a bit more mystical like the girl Gladiator called 'Rosa' armed only with a Sword, I have yet to win any of these battles

There is an Awesome Rocking Music track to these Arena Battles, with the Crowd going wild chanting, etc

Oh yes and I took part in a nail biting Gladiator Chariot race!!

Most of the time I was playing this Pachislo I spent watching the action on screen, the reels themselves seem smaller and tucked underneath

I have been thoroughly enjoying this game, which is a bit of a first for me with pachislos

Oh and by the way the hero does look very much like David Beckham, coincidence?? or are the Japanese Parlours trying to get more women to play??

    I rate this pachislo a 10/10

I hope to add some pics at some point
