    Unhappy HELP!!! monitor problem

    these screens just popped up in the middle of my older HP lcd monitor

    the only way I can get them to go away is hold the menu button in!!!

    is there any other way to fix this. coild a virus cause this??

    Not a virus... There on buttons on the front of the monitor. Pushing them should turn that off.

    I've pushed them and the menu goes away only when I hold the menu button in!!

    I may fix it the Polish way and just get a small wood clamp

    its a little hard reading posts with this thing staring me in the face!!

    Sorry but it seems your monitor is now being controled by Aliens !!!

    I hope you have a warrenty on the monitor cause the menu control board seems to be going

    If you unplug the power from your monitor and then plug it back in will they go off? If not; you may have a stuck button.

    Hey LD... Just pull the chassis apart and clean the buttons something MUST have gotten in there and messed up the contact. It is most likely the same kind of switch found on the doors of a Pachi that is bad. If if is a smaller one I have spares just PM me.
