    Default "Charlies Angels" Questions??

I'm new to the board, but have already found some great info here. I was wondering if anyone knew who manufactures the Charlie's Angels Pachislo. Also, my machine will not play for anything less than max bet (3 tokens). Is there a setting that controls this? Finally, does anyone know of a model-specific manual in English for this machine? It has the dot-matrix game on the side of it, and I would love to know more about it.

    Thanks in advance, GREAT SITE!!

I believe this model is made by rodeo. Tulsa will get it put into the Pachislo game museum shortly most likely. This is a max bet model, like it seems most machines are these days, it means that you have to use three tokens at a time and there is no setting that can be changed to make it otherwise.
There really aren't any English manuals out there for any machine unless someone has translated one from Japanese. The bst way to learn about your machine is to play it and play it often. That is half the fun of this hobby.

Does the Charlies Angels have an LCD screen? It's hard to see from the picture?

Thanks for the help all! I am in the same boat as some other members (I have two small children) the volume of the machine is so loud that I can't really play it when they are home. The quick solution that I found last night was to simply unplug the speakers until I can do the mod for the volume control.

Doing that will fry your amphirer with no load, do cotton balls in the speaker cones.

Thanks for that tidbit!!!! Do I take the speakers out from the inside of the machine, then insert the cotton, then reattach, or is there a way to open the grilles from the outside??

take out the top two screws from back of speakers,

loosen the bottom two screws and put in cotton balls,

you can push them in with a q tip or something soft so you don't poke a hole in the speakers.

every machine is different, start with 6 in each and snug up two bottom screws, then if you need more you can easily loosen them back up.

after you get the sound the way you want it, replace and tighten all screws.

Thanks for the info! I did the cotton ball thing last night with fairly good results, but could still be a little quieter. Can I use a potentiometer @ $2.89 rather than the L-Pad @ $31.00 (Radio Shack)?? Which one of the pots would be the best if I can do it this way?
