The tattoo shop is taking shape more we got more done the display racks for the sheets of flash (tattoo designs) and the tattooing chairs together and set up.
With Sherri's help we got the curtains up, women know the "how to do it best" on that front. So I let, really asked nicely to help us. The curtains are JCPenny's Harley Davidson Window Covering (curtains).

JCPenney : Harley Davidson Window Covering

We got more stuff to bring up from the basement to put in the shop.

Speaking of basements this is where the cat likes to go all the time. I will never understand the mind of a cat. Me, I would rather lay in the sun, where the air is a lot fresher too. She will come up with cobwebs on her tail and ears. Maybe she is digging her way out, like "The Great Escape".

We got up the ArBuckle Tattoo Brass plates.
They weigh more everytime we move them, When I had them made, back in the late 80s (I think), I myself carried each one alone . Now it takes three of us, and all day to mount them .
Dave, see what we were doing when you called, would have been nice it you were here to help us.

Well soprry I have not writting lately, I have been busy with the tattoo shop, I can't believe how many people in little Jesup want tattoos and small towns around too.

Problem we got now is the parent-I-Ls don't stop by. They drive by almost everyday, but stop in no. They been invited everytime we talk to them.

Mom-I-L now is hiding any and all keys. They are disappearing like chocolate cake at a fat farm.
She is sliding backwards, 'ell, she rolling back in time. Sherri is her sister and I be a strange she keeps an eye on.
Father-I-L just sits there are reads every page of the paper, every page! He does not wish to do anything else.

My thought here not shared with Sherri, I think we should get one of the units set up for them and maybe put in a door way between two rooms to give them. like an small apartment.

I think I am starting to see why we are here, I know if it was brought up before the flood to move here to care for them. I would have said "move them here", very crase of me, I think.
But the flood did a lot of changes in me, Life is more about the other people and not me.
And all my stuff was like a chain around my neck. It centered my thinking to more my stuff. And I have learned it about people, not just the crap you got.

So now I know Sherri will not handle it good, if I bring up the move thing for her parents, because her mom would follow her everywhere, that is what she did when we lived there durning the clean up. So I will watch and listen and be suportive.

The faulty arms, Kenny will be going home after his birthday the 15th, He will be back in Early july to do the outside painting.

It will be sad when Kenny leaves, I am going to name this unit "DeMarce Suite" on the door.

Today my American slot machines came.

They are prettier than before and they work like they are new!
My Hero (Youngjedi) did all this for me and he would not even take gas money.

The quality of the workmanship is top drawer.

Here my four jewels and my Hero.

If you need your old american slot reworked to bring back the early years, Youngjedi is your man !!!

Kenny went home today, it is sad.
He has been here from Oct-23-08 to Mar-20-09, we named a suite after him.
He will be back in a month to install the air conditioners.
Than again the first two weeks in July to do the new paint and windows.

We even got the doll out.

    Morning friend,

A lot has been going on here this last week.
Got my american Slots back from a Master Craftsman "Hands".
Rent has picked up to where we almost have no vacancy .
Tattoo shop has taken off like gang busters.
Kenny ran out of work here for now and went home.
A forgotten wedding aniversity (by me), and she was nice and not asked me to commit Hara Kiri... (Ritual Self Disembowelment).

So I decided to revisit the flood again, it has done a ton of great things for me (inside my head), but it has taken away the memories.

Memories, I lived there since 1976, and had planed to die there (a long time from now ), but there are places in the building where there were warm glows, from past relationships, where old friends sat and we played cards and drank beer, watch games.

Them friends are long gone, the flood even took any picture or item that reminded me of them. That memory in my mind kept them alive.
I haven't spoke of the history between Kenny and me. Kenny's Dad and Mom were as close to real parents as I every had. Though Max (ken's Dad) and I were hunting and shooting buddies. I could talk to him about anything, for help in life.

Max passed away in Arizona, went to sleep feeling great, and did not wake up, many years passed. The flood took the picture of Max I had and those spaces in the building.
Max was the best and honest locksmith, I have ever known. He was so good, he could take a key blank and key file and in less that a few minutes have a key for any locked lock. Ken gave me Max's pocket magnifying glass he carried in his pocket for a number of years. it has worn corners and rubs and scratchers, but it is worth to me its weight in gold. It is the best gift I have got in all these past years.
I have what I have, because of Max, "He said to me one day, Greg when you planing on getting your head out of your azz, and take life serious? There is not any do overs in life". (Doctor Phil took this statement for Max, he said that to me in early 1969).

Well I did start taking life serious, building a life, a spot on earth that is mine. Remembering Max is important. I could be in the old shop in the early morning hours and from the corner of my eye see Max working on my front door lock.

I don't speak of her, but my third love, she left places in the old apartment that had warm glows, She too is has passed. Well the sun is just breaking the crest of the town and shining into the shop here, so it is time to start cleaning suites and putting these memories in the back of my mind.

An Amish joke or why Amish need to get out more.

A fifteen year old Amish boy and his father were in a mall. They were
amazed by almost everything they saw, but especially by two shiny,
silver walls that could move apart and then slide back together again.

The boy asked, 'What is this Father?'

The father (never having seen an elevator) responded, 'Son, I
have never seen anything like this in my life, I don't know what it is.'

While the boy and his father were watching with amazement, a fat old
lady in a wheel chair moved up to the moving walls and pressed a
button. The walls opened, and the lady rolled between them into a small room.
The walls closed, and the boy and his father watched the small numbers
above the walls light up sequentially.

They continued to watch until it reached the last number, and
then the numbers began to light in the reverse order. Finally the walls
opened up again and a gorgeous 24-year-old blond stepped out.

The father, not taking his eyes off the young woman, said quietly to his son... 'Go get your mother.'

    Well to say it nicely.

I been thru a little Hell and I don't wish to go back there again.

The first week in Oct. I fell and broken the hell out of my Elbow, with i infection from the little scratch on my knee and beeing on blood thinner, it was two weeks before they could cut and go in and repaire it right.
The Dr.s put in a plate and screws, Titateunm I hope!.
The suragy was 4 hours and the Gas passing Dr. kind of over topped my tanks. My lungs were burn/cold.
The Repaire was 100 % great job, but now I be on an O2 tube for air.
My Alveoli's can't change take out the CO2 and Rplace it with O2.

My internist (Lung Dr.) is hopeful to have me off the air hose in 3 or 4 months.

BUT I got the tattoo Shop re opened and back to work for this old dog.

I am thinking of being more careful walking around.
