    Jeff,
You say your Eleco did not have to go this far. What eleco do you have? I would be interesrted to see what your cion hopper looks like. I'm having to go pretty far to make this work, but I will get it!

Post some pictures if you can.

    Thanks.

So, here is the lastest in the on going IGT slot handle install. I have to say, if you have an Eleco machine with the same coin hopper as I do, make sure you really want to do this modification. It seems to be very easy on other machine \ coin hopper combos, but not mine. I'm not sure if this is the model number, but there is a label on my coin hopper with the # - CHO-109940.

I have attached some pictures that I hope will help others if they take this on.

Photo #1 - I removed about half the thinkness of the wood using a dremel as I still need more room to clear the coin hopper. This also helped to get the assy. to stick out far enough on the outside.

Photo #2 - I had to grind away part of the assy. so that it would fit under the coin hopper.

Photo #3 - assy. installed without coin hopper.

Photo #4 - Coin hopper (big sucker).

Photo #5 - Coin hopper installed

Photo #6 - Assy. under coin hopper.

Photo #7 - Face plate on outside (I know, ugly cabinet. Textured vinyl laminate is going on next).

Photo #8 - Spin knobs. The olive is being replaced with the dice. (I know, many like the olvie better, but wait!!)

Photo #9- The new and improved olive! Still working on it but it will be installed soon.

I know I could have cut and modifided the coin hopper, but I wanted to keep the overflow in place. I may have taken the hard road, but I'm happy with how it turned out. Once again, I hope these pictures help if anyone runs into the problems I did.

well you have the same hopper connector as my hanabi haykki but mine isnt any where near as large mine sits more upright then leaning to the left . but job well done now just run your wires over to the spin knob and attach them to the two bottom connections on the arm switch and your done .

    All,

Thanks for the comments. I just need to finish putting a few more coats of clear polycrylic on the slot arm knob and it will be ready to install. Then I need to wire up the slot arm assy.

As far as a topper, yes! I am bouncing around some Ideas. I think you are on the right track with the martini glass BigBearSteve. I found some cool neon ones, but I don't think that would work if I want to wire it into the machine. I also want to ad a PachiStat and I need to cover the cabinet with some vinyl laminate I have.

Thanks to everyone for their help!!! Great people on this site!!!

Happy to say that the IGT slot arm is wired up and works great. The reels can be spun with the spin knob or the slot arm. Next is the black vinyl laminate, volume control and a pachistat. Maybe a couple little mods. as well. Still thinking.

Jeff, thanks for making the slot arm available.

Cool Re: IGT Slot Arm Pictures needed!

How about for a topper you take a martini glass make an olive with a red led in it that lights with a win, then fill the glass with acrylic stuff to make it look like liquid!? Seems simple enough!!

    MrGneiss,

One thing. Do you know where I would need to wire it in?

    Thanks!

yes . you'd have to wire it through the reel stop board(the small pc board mounted on the side of the cabinet with the fuse on it) it has relay contacts that aren't used (were used by the parlor ) they can be used to switch on and off during a bonus or win . theres a schematic of a common reel stop board floating around here somewhere . Here it is :

Is this the same board the the PachiStat connects to? Any additional information would be great.

    Thanks!
