I collected Hats from every Squadron, Ship, Naval Station I served at or pulled into while on deployment and aircraft I've worked on. I could go to work for 2 months, 5 days a week and never wear the same hat.

I have other amusement machines as well. I also collect old Soviet pins and military patches. We were in war against them in WWII and now the state and system does not exists anymore so I find pins interesting. Especially space pins like, Mars ans moon missions, Gagarin, Laika, Sputnik and so on...

my latest collection started with a incredible gift from a member here needless to say i have had to move games rooms as iv run out of space in the games cupbord hence i have a lump on the side of my head curtasy of 7 and so will the member in question when we visit this weekend i just havent warned him

my argument "i did seek the directors aproval first and he said i was allowed a new free toy as he got a bouncy castle

For me, I collect tokens, any type or size. It started as a way to get unusual ones in my pachis, but I discovered it was fun to pore through them, find stuff that was nostalgic (such as old arcade tokens) or just interesting (Muni/ferry/subway tokens, WWII rationing tokens, novelties and souvenirs like wooden nickels, and so on).

I also collect vintage board games from the 40's to the 70's, and lanterns, railroad (kerosene) and Coleman type. I have a knack for repairing (and breaking) them. I also collect, repair and sell vintage camp stoves.

I have a casino card collection, and have started casino chip collecting about a year ago. (Hey, there would be an auction idea, to benefit PT or Greg! Easy to ship, etc)

We (my wife and myself) collect Me-to-you bears. I collect Garfield stuff and that's it. Well I gather a lot of junk, not sure if you call that collecting ...

I do collect quality tools i guess. I can't go to a hardware shop and buy "a wrench" , it has to be a brand like Snap-on or Belzer. I do that with all tools ... that's almost as expensive as a collection hobby

In the true sense of being a collector, I collect nothing. My feeling is if I haven't used it in the last six months, toss it to make room for something new.

I had a nice collection of Boyd's Bears (just the small ones) and a few beautiful porcelain dolls. My passion for a few years was collecting porcelain Carousel Horses... that is until I started collecting kids.

Now, I have packed away the most beautiful collection of 3-legged carousel horses you ever did see. Now if I had just listened to Mom and packed them before the kids got to them!
