    Default Azteca Legend Problems

I just got an Azteca Legend for my wife for xmas. Works great, but I can't use the reset to change odds because the key won't turn at all. I called the place where I purchased it and a technician told me to spray some wd40 on the key. So far no good. He also told me about this forum. I will keep trying. I wonder if it could be the wrong key??
    Any suggestions?
Also, where is the led readout that tells the number relating to the odds setting (1-6).?
I guess the only way to learn all the intricacies of playing one of these (bonus rounds etc), is to play with it alot.
    Any help will be appreciated..thanks!

This is an Eleco model so you'll have a silver box in the back upper right side for the reset key. Depending on how they mounted the box, the key might turn left or right.

Does the key fit in the lock of this box? The door key should be much larger.

Who was the vendor that sent you to us?

I would think they could be interchangable since they are made by the same company.

the reset key gets put in by the power supply,

are you trying to put it in on the silver panel to the right above the reels????

the skill level shows up on the led right above the nintendo type controls.

My AZL was different. It was just like my K1 Punch Rush and my Babel. The reset key was in the top by the reels in the silver box. The power supply on all of them just had an off/on switch.

You are Lucky, we only get one and you get two.
I think that one is you turn the key and you hear a soft ticking sound, 60 sec. later gone.
Please if you decide to do it, document with pictures. http://www.users.qwest.net/~arbycoff...icons/pimp.gif

I was just reading old posts fromPc. Thanks Lucydog! I came across a post about the babel and that extra key under the flap by the reset key up to the right of the reels. It was from Toonces. The thread ended without knowing what it does. Sounded like he had a key that worked it. nether keys on mine worked. It looks like the front door key. Only answer was somebody thought it worked the hopper. I PMed him no response yet. Any one remember this thread? Have info on this?

Wow I am surprised at all the responses my post spawned. Thanks for all the input. Since I hit a jackpot on the machine this afternoon, my wife is mesmerized by the machine, so as soon as she leaves it I will take another look.
I am glad she likes it, first Xmas gift in a long time that really clicked! I could see getting addicted to these things.
Anyway I'll post when I get the little prob solved with the reset.

PS I got it from Stealth in Rochester. Very good service and help on the phone.

I may be way off here, but on my Azteca Legend it looks like the metal box above and to the right of the reels (that has the lock cylinder in it) has a metal tab that locks the plastic cover over the main circuit board. I don't have a key to mine so I cant open it to verify this.

That's where the reset key goes and what I was referring to earlier. Well let me say that mine had to locks in that metal box and one was the reset.

I got the key to work last nite. I guess the wd40 worked after awhile. The key went into the left side power supply I guess. Only spot I could find. I as able to change the 'odds' setting altho it doesn't seem to make that much difference.
I wonder if there is anyplace that has detailed descriptions of play on these machines? It is difficult to tell what to do/what is happening with this machine sometimes.
