king of mouse key switch

Hi all,
Have recently purchased a King of Mouse Pachislo and am a bit puzzled as to the function of the key switch located inside the machine (it has 2 positions,"ON"and "OFF").When switched to the ON position coin will not go into the hopper,they merely drop out into the tray at the bottom thus the machine will not play due to no credit.Also when the key is switched to the ON position the reel lights flash on and off,Forgive my ignorance but this is my first machine,the instructions I recieved seem to be fairly general and not specific.Any help appreciated.

I tried to set a link to the area in our research center that will help but the link seems to be down. The key switch is part of the re-set operation.

1. turn the machine power off.
2. turn the little key switch clockwise until it stops.
3. turn the machine power back on.
4. tap a few times on the spin lever.
5. turn the little key switch counter clockwise until it stops.

you should hear a click or noise as the token mechanism engages try to play the unit and post back.

after step 3 go to---

step 3 1/2 look for odds number on front of door,

find the odds button inside the machine, usually on the power sipply or on the inside of the door,

set the odds from 1 to 6 by pressing the button, the is the best odds, lower has more smaller wins.

then go to step 4
