Default Another mod. to the Michael Godard Machine

    All,

Thanks for the great feedback on the Michael Godard Machine. I've made another small modification. Some may like, others may not. I would really like to have a true Vegas style machine, but due to the fact that they're $$$, it most likely will not happen. Therefore I have installed an autostop on my Pachislo machine and hid the stop buttons. I know this will affect the play of the "AT" game that this machine has, but I still like the Vegas feel. The stop buttons were mounted inside and are completely functional still if there is an issue with the reels not stoping (happens now and then). The blank ABS plate can easily be removed and the buttons reinstalled if wanted.

Let me know what you think.

American (Las Vegas) machines are becoming more and more like there Pachi counterparts everyday. Soon you'll have to put the buttons back to get that real Vegas feel.

Have you considered adding a side arm?

I think the next modification will be an arm. Just need to find where to get the right on for this machine (Eleco TacoSlot 2). Anybody know a good source at a good price?

I only saw one machine with an arm at the Hard Rock casino in Tampa.

they all use buttons, usually by bet and how many lines you want to play.

like bet 5 cent 10 cents 15 cent and lines 1 to 10 or 20.

a nickle bet on 20 lines cost you a dollar a spin.

I was playing a 2 cents bet 20 line Double Diamond.

40 cents a spin or 80 cents for 4 cent bet.

I just happen to have one if you want it .$20.00 plus shipping. It's an actual IGT slot arm . Someone around here started adding them some time ago cant remember who ... there not hard to mount .just have to add longer bolts . finding the wiring is easy to do .heres a url that was posted back then .

One wont do it for me, I actually need a dozen... LOL I need to upgrade my whole rental fleet.

I AM however interested if he does not want it. I need to find a way to duplicate and adapt it for my needs. I want an arm that has the feel of the old slots, the ratcheting coil and release possibly even the sound that acompanies it.

these fit your bill but getting that many will require some time sitting on ebay they appear from time to time but the more that are bought the price usually starts to rise so take your time buying them .they are 50 times better than those other arms which are just a arm and a switch no ratchet mech at all.

I really want to get my hands on one of those to see if I can duplicate most of the parts from grainger and fabricate any others I need. I really would like 10 or more I was even thinking of building one that mounted only on the outside of the machine in and locked in and used a magnetic switch to trigger the spin. that way they would transport better be completely interchangable.
