the cost to ship a container here has better than doubled in the past 9 months.

the volume of sales and new members has slipped from a peak about 18 months ago. so actually they are falling out of popularity.

Ah... that explains a lot. Really unfortunate for those just getting into the hobby then.

It's actually going to become LESS expensive for me to import cells directly from Japan than it will be to buy them through vendors here.

Does samurai slots still sell pachinkos?

    *laughing*

    Can we standardize his name?

I knew him as CF Exports and Hiro... but never samurai slots.

Heck, I purchased from him for Kamen Rider and I hope to purchase another soon enough! But now Cutie Honey is $75 more? Sad, sad times.

    Humph. Alright.

Well, I'll just make a standing offer to anyone with a Cutie Honey. Anyone who wants to sell for $200 shipped to Chicago, consider it sold. ^^

True, if we're considering Hiro the going rate. Because I already know he has 2-4 at $240 unshipped. ^^

Anyway, I'm pretty sure no one would go out of their way to take me up on my "offer" however real it may be. So I doubt the actual rate matters so much as personal value. There might be out there a person who would sell their Cutie Honey for $150 (being $200-odd minus cost of shipping). Unlikely? Absolutely. Possible? Sure.

So I don't mind playing the fool.

    Well, Gokuu is here!

USPS never bothered to deliver it because the box was "too big and heavy" so they just stuck a note on my door that said they missed me, and that I could pick it up tomorrow from the post office (they never even knocked on the door). Me, being very po'd that I sat here all day for nothing; called USPS, and complained until they said I could pick it up today. Still, out a whole day of work; I was mad since it was there at 8:45 am. I could have picked it up, and gone to work.

It does smell like an ashtray; I don't smoke so that sucks, but it's clean, and powered right up. Also, no need for volume controls since it's rather quiet on the lowest setting.

Okay, now that I have vented a little; here are the pictures.

I don't know if its still true, but postal workers were only required to be able to lift 40 pounds.

If it looks over 40 pounds, tough luck

Where'd you get Cutie Honey for $225 shipped? It's $240 unshipped through Hiro.

I'd definitely pay $200 for a shipped Cutie Honey. ^^

Especially if those cells can be changed.

There were several games in that frame, haven't really seen cels for it though.

They've delivered all mine and Arby's (over 100 for him!) no problem. Mine usually come out in a special van/truck.

I will try to get some video up soon. I can't stop drooling over it...

I will try to get a video of the intro today, and maybe some game play if possible. I still don't have a youtube account, so that's first.

I will try to shoot the video sideways so it matches my pictures.
